The Best of Northern California

The Best of Northern California is simply one of the top selling and most popular tours. It features San Francisco, the Wine Country, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, Monterey & Carmel, Route 1, the Pacific Coast Highway and the Hearst Castle.  

Day 1 - Arrival at San Francisco International Airport, city tour upon arrival, hotel check-in, Gala welcome dinner

Day 2 - Excursion to Muir Woods and Sausalito, ferry cruise back to the Fisherman's Wharf area, rest of the day free

Day 3 - Private winery tour and wine tasting followed by lunch on board the Napa Valley Wine Train

Day 4 - Checkout, drive to Lake Tahoe with check-in at a hotel casino at State-line; cocktail show at a headliner room

Day 5 - Partial rim of the lake tour followed by visits to Virginia City and Carson City, Sunset Dinner Cruise

Day 6 - Drive south to Yosemite and enter through the Tioga Pass; valley tour upon arrival with dinner at the Ahwahnee Lodge

​Day 7 - Checkout and drive west to the Monterey Peninsula; visit Carmel and take the 17-Mile Drive

Day 8 - Drive south along the Big Sir coastline and then tour the Hearst Castle; return to Monterey for a special farewell dinner

Day 9 - Checkout and drive back to SFO for the flight home
